Every day we would spend a couple of hours just roaming the streets of Leh, enjoying the local sidewalk markets. The Tibetan woman would set up their daily produce of potatoes, carrots, onions, nuts and fruits. 
In the winter, the potatoes are buried 2 feet underground and then retrived once the soil unfreezes in the Spring.
