Leh, a mostly Tibetan village, lies on the northwest corner of India bordering Pakistan and Tibet. Early one morning we visited one of the Tibetan monasteries and joined in the daily prayer session which begins with the blowing of horns on the roof top of the monastery. Then all the monks, young and old, gather for an hour of chanting and prayer.
