Just back from our travels to Basoli in the state of Kashmir. What a journey for Mari and I!! Basoli is a very poor, but beautiful, village in the mountains of Kashmir. Over 200 patients were seen each day and about 15 surgeries performed each day. It is amazing work that Dr. Charak and his team are doing through their free medical camps and I was grateful to have the opportunity to participate in this camp. We are now in Delhi for a day and will travel to Leh early tomorrow morning for a few days.
